ghd saved me from hair hell
I have always had very crazy hair that would take ages to fix every day. Then a couple of months ago I decided that I would buy some top quality straighteners to help me sort out my hair as I was tired of struggling every morning.
The first time I heard of ghds was when my salon asked me if I would like to try out a new pair of ceramic stylers they had just got in. My hair stylist said it would cut my salon visit time in half. I resolved to get some ghds for myself. They didn’t look too complicated to use. All the salons were selling them at £100, so I seached for a cheaper deal.
There are loads websites selling ghd straighteners at very low prices, but after a bit of reseach I discoverd a lot of them were selling counterfeit ghds, it is important to make sure you are ordering from an approved ghd stockist. The best deal I could find was (£88 with free delivery) on this website: ghd hair straighteners - they listed all the prices from all of the official ghd retailers.
There are three typs of products that all use the same technology from GHD. A small plated styler for those with shorter hair, called the Mini Styler. A medium plated straightener, for those with mid to longer hair and the wide plated Salon Styler for longhair styles, thick or particularly awkward hair. I used the medium one, the GHD IV Styler, which managed my shoulder length, curly hair very well. The ghd IV Styler is the most commonly found of the three and is the one I decided to plump for as a good alrounder.
I have had my GHD’s for about 2 years now, and they work just as good as they did the the day I bought them. I honestly cannot fault them. If you’re reluctant to spend nearly £100 on a some straighteners, just consider how much you would spend on straighteners and other products that are perhaps not as good as GHDs. It would soon add up, and would you really acheive as good a result? If you really want perfectly straight hair without any hassle it is probably a good idea to buy GHD’s sooner or later. I promise you, you won’t regret it!

What did we do before GHD?
To begin with, my hair has always been a lot of work, before ghd irons nothing could keep my hair under control. So a few months ago I decided that I would invest in a pair of quality straightenering irons to help me sort out my hair as I’d had enough of struggling every single morning.
My friend went to the hair salon and she has unbelievably curly hair. She asked the hair stylist to try and straighten it and they got out a pair of ghd straigheners. When I saw it I couldn’t believe it. Her hair was pencil straight. Not one curl or wave in place and the change from curly to straight was spectacular. I decided to buy some of my own while trying convinced myself that for something that will get used everyday £95 was a good price. After all, some people spend that on one pair of shoes or a bag.
The best deal I found online was listed here: ghd straighteners - which list only official ghd dealers which is very important as there are loads of counterfeit ghds about online, in fact if you come across new ghds lower than £75 they are probably fake so be careful.
GHD straighteners come in three sizes, those with thinner plates for short hair the mini styler, medium sized plates like those of the MK4 styler and thicker plates for very thick hair the salon styler. Normally I would have chosen the biggest plates possible as I have really thick hair but I went for the regular size plated ghd as I wanted to have a go at curling my hair with them as well - the thick plates would not be as good at curling.
Instead of spending over a hour on my hair it takes 20 minites, and it leaves my hair striaght and looking great. Another plus point is that you can create other styles, such as curls, waves and flicks. They are a must have.

ghd = very good hair day
To begin with I own the worst hair you could possibly imagine. So a couple of years ago I decided that I would buy a pair of high quality straightenering irons to help me sort out my hair as I’d had enough of struggling every morning.
I first came across ghs straigheners when a friend of mine who had recently bought some, she claimed that they were the best staighteners in the business. So I decided to buy some of my own while at the same time trying convinced myself that for something I will use everyday £90 wasn’t a bad price. After all, some people spend that much money on one pair of jeans or a purse.
I found the lowest price on the net was listed here: ghds - they list only authorised ghd stockists which is very important as there are tons of fake ghd straighteners being sold online, in fact if you find new ghds lower than £80 they are probably counterfeits so be careful.
There are three main types of GHD styling irons: GHD IV Styler - currently priced around £95 and are the best selling ghs styler. They are original ghds with a bit of fine tweaking of the years. With these you can straighten you hair in minutes as well as create beautiful bouncy curls. Then there is the GHD IV Mini - These are priced around £90 these are good for short hair because they have very narrow plates hence the mini name, they are the smallest and the lightest. The ghd Mini styler is great because they are very easy to handle curling under that pob, pulling that sweeping fringe straight or creating cute little curls. You can easily pack them into any bag. GHD IV Salon styler - There cost about £100 they are the most bulky of all the straighteners as they have wider plates, which cover a larger area. They are designed to style the hardest of hair types such as long thick hair or Afros. All of the ghds have safe modes programed into them so they switch of if not used for half an hour, universal voltage compatibility so they can be used abroard and can be purchased within special packs including heat mats and other GHD products.
GHD are a respected company and many salons use ghd products, so I wanted to look like I had come out of the salon every day! Its really worth the £90 I paid, I think I got the best deal in terms of extras, and it was delivered within 2 days after payment. They also come with a two year warrenty if anything breaks - although I think that is very unlikley as the build quality is top notch.
